The 9th Colonial Marines is a seasoned regiment with deep roots in the Foxhole community, dating back to well before the release of the 1.0 update. Over the years, we’ve built a strong reputation for our disciplined gameplay and tactical prowess. However, like many longstanding groups, real-life commitments eventually caught up with a significant portion of our leadership, leading to a period of inactivity and hibernation over the past year.

Now, as we emerge from this hiatus, the 9thCM is getting back into the swing of things. We’re stretching our legs and dusting off our equipment, ready to reclaim our place on the battlefield. That said, some internal restructuring is necessary, especially within the officer corps, as we work to rebuild and strengthen our leadership. There's plenty of work ahead, but our commitment to each other and to the fight remains unshaken.

Our gameplay focus is primarily on mechanized infantry, merging the tactical use of light vehicles with infantry support. We specialize in using support weapons to provide infantry screens and execute well-coordinated pushes on enemy positions. In addition, we have an enduring relationship with The Velian Fleet (VF), frequently volunteering our skills and manpower when amphibious landing crews are needed. This collaboration allows us to diversify our combat experience and support larger operations that require versatility.

At the core of our regiment is a desire to maintain an active, dedicated player base. We seek members who can consistently dedicate 10+ hours a week to the game, ensuring we always have boots on the ground and a presence in critical operations. We strive to keep our logistical demands manageable, as we understand that logistics burnout can be a real issue for many players. While we aim to minimize our logistical footprint, players are always welcome and needed to support our operations.

Communication is key to our success, and we use Discord as our primary means of coordination and strategy planning. Our current home is on the MARO Coalition HQ server, where we work closely with our allies to ensure seamless teamwork and cohesion in larger, multi-regiment efforts.
